The need to socially distance will mean reduced capacity on London's public transport network. If car journeys greatly increase then our roads could grind to a halt. We need to keep roads free for truly essential journeys. To support the economy and keep people safe we need to enable large numbers of trips that would have been made by public transport to be made on foot or by bike.
